You can grandfather in (no course attendance necessary) if you are a healthcare provider or long-term care professional with current provider-level certification in basic life support (BLS) / cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and/or first aid (FA) or have a current instructor certificate with another nationally recognized organization. Please call us at (313) 355-9132 to speak with a customer representative who will determine your eligibility to obtain the Instructor Application for receiving your instructor certification without attending a class.
